- Running on Morecambe beach 2007! 1.8 MB -
This is the raw file straight from the camera; it was windy as you will hear!
It is in QuickTime MPEG-4 video 320x240px, 23.95fps.
It is 1.8MB but a mere 13 seconds long. Better quality than the WMV stuff but at a size cost.
Window Media Player Video
And for some video playing in the page! When I am sure this works for my
audience I will do them all this way. The player is not visible until the file is wholly
downlaoded; enjoy the Q!
Technical stuff
These files may require fairly up-to-date codecs for your media player, typically version 9 codecs.
The Windows Media Player has a facility to automatically download required codecs you may find
useful. You could of course try another player, say Zoom.
I prefer MPEG and DivX as the format. Microsoft never
have the best anything in my experience, except maybe marketing department. But most people
have access to Windows Media Player so for ease of distribution to my family I usually use WMV.
More recently the files are Quick Time
MOVie files.
I must admit I prefer still images over video footage.
