I love trees and aim to plant a new one every year, not much of an ambition but from small acorns! Click here to plant a tree in the UK. Or visit the UK Tree Council for information on our trees. I know they grow trees just for paper but still, a tree is a tree and we donate the money saved to charity.
We try to do our bit to save the planet and minimise our environmental impact. It would be nice if the family had a positive impact but I suspect our affect is slightly negative. We recycle, buy organic, reduce our waste, keep the thermostat down but most modern houses are built at a cost to the environment that will take some time to negate. Saving paper, and adding trees, is part of the battle.
