First full year in the new house so many little jobs to do. Putting up toilet roll holders and the like. And this year we get a fence between us and the couple to our left. They have a dog. Not that the lack of a fence stopped Claire sunbathing on the patio or enjoying the garden.
The decorating has started and the lounge gets a red wall. I like red. You need to do some painting if only to keep down the dust in new modern houses. I got some pictures up pretty soon else the place would have looked very bare.
One of my team lent me their mini bouncy castle for a while. It was a great hit in the garden which was just as well given the effort getting it pumped up. The things you do for your kids, or is it because you enjoy the sight of their happiness?
At other times I brought the paddling pool into the kitchen because she enjoys that and the weather wasn't obliging us with any sun. We also put the sag bag outside - the fun you can have when you care not for opinion but for their joy.
